Main home

The 220sq metre main residence is perfectly nestled in the heart of the Australian rainforest blending in with the ancient trees with ease.

The spacious open plan kitchen, dining and lounge area is perfect for entertaining accommodating multiple groups or families with plentiful relaxation and reading nooks throughout.

The three spacious bedrooms all have en-suite with double spa bath to continue the relaxed ambiance of the property.

The home is spacious and bright with cathedral ceilings, natural timber poles Canadian Oregan beams, Baltic pine lining, glass atriums and decks overlooking the forest and the towering native trees.

Cottages

Sumptuous, sophisticated interiors using natural palates and fabrics have been introduced by renowned interior designer, Virginia Oxenford. The new cottage interiors establish Mistere as a luxurious vacation home with all the quality fixtures and fittings you’d expect, perfectly married with the natural surrounds.

The three one bedroom guest cottages are stand-alone from the main home and spaciously spread around the 130 acres for individual privacy, each with own deck and outdoor area.

Each self-contained cottage comes complete with King Size Bed, sofa bed and open bathroom with free standing, two person spa bath overlooking the rainforest and lagoon. A sliding wall and duette blinds to close for privacy

Large windows maximise the views from the open plan bedroom and living area with timber-look tiles, contemporary wood fire for winter warmth and air conditioning for the hot summers.

Each cottage has patio doors that open on to the balcony which hovers over the rainforest beneath. With Luxaflex Evo Channeled awnings –which can be open or closed to suit – the balcony houses the al fresco kitchen and dining facilities, featuring state-of-the-art induction cooktop, convection microwave and dishwasher.

Be at one with nature as you cook and dine in the rainforest spotting the local wildlife and surrounded by clear skies at night-ideal for star gazing.

For those that need to stay in touch with the ‘real world’, cottages are equipped with SMART TV, Blue Ray Player and Soundbar, plus a selection of entertainment discs.

Complementing the natural surrounds, the cottage décor is neutral with subtle flashes of woodland and fern green. Feature pieces include natural linen finish floor-to-ceiling drapes, upholstered bedhead in soft green, 100% wool floor rug and a splash of colour in the bed throw.

To maintain privacy and the romantic aura of Mistere, a gourmet breakfast hamper can be delivered to your cottage from outside the cabin, with access to the delivery hatch through the wardrobe inside.
